Dates
Hackathon will run from October 23, 4 PM, through October 25, 4 PM.
Eligibility
College students currently enrolled in US universities and willing to participate in person during the hackathon weekend. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Participants must attend the hackathon in person.
Students of any discipline may participate. Because this hackathon uses raw photo and video data to tackle deep social issues like Youth Resilience and Wellbeing, we need more than just coders. We need artists, psychologists, and creative problem-solvers to form teams with students skilled in AI solution engineering. If you care about social good, your perspective is vital to teaching AI to understand human emotions, interpret the performing arts, and design tools that real community organizations can actually use.
Team Size
Participants are expected to form a team of 1 to 3 individuals. We encourage you to form a diverse team of passionate individuals.
Project and Submission Requirements
Originality: New projects only. You must complete the entire project during the hackathon. Submissions must be the original work of you and your team. While participants may not use pre-existing projects, they are encouraged to brainstorm ideas and do some research in advance.
Solution Submission: All projects must be submitted before 10 AM on October 25. Teams that miss the deadline can still demo their projects, but they will not be judged.
Judges will evaluate projects based on the specified evaluation criteria.
Solutions must be submitted to this Devpost Hackathon site.
