TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES
Beyond a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Audio/Video Processing, Database Management, and Pipeline Integration, the following are the required prerequisites:
Hardware Responsibility: Participants must bring a functional workstation or laptop that can process and store raw video and photo files.
Primary Language: Python (Highly Recommended).
Suggested Development Tools: Visual Studio Code or Jupyter Notebooks.
Recommended Categories of Frameworks (To have ready):
- Model Repositories: Libraries for downloading and running pre-trained computer vision foundation models.
- Media Libraries: Frameworks for reading, manipulating, and down-sampling raw video clips and image folders.
- Storage & Retrieval: Lightweight databases or indexing tools for organizing extracted metadata and vector embeddings.
- User Interfaces: Rapid-prototyping frameworks to quickly build simple search bars, dashboards, or presentation frontends.
